Averoldi has built a highly specialized department in the production of columns for presses and special shafts up to 1000 diameter and 13 meters in length.

Thanks to the presence of one of the largest rolling machines in Italy, Averoldi can perform metric threads and trapezoidal threads from Diam. 80 up to Diam. 330.

The creation of the thread, through cold deformation, allows to eliminate the traditional relief for threading with a cutting tool, considerably increasing the resistance and therefore the working life of the columns themselves.
